Welcome to the Ed Thompson State Farm Agency. I have been a State Farm Agent since 1982 and a longtime resident of the Pearland area. My team and I are committed to helping you like you are one of our family members. My agency has qualified for many awards over the years including President's Club, Crystal of Excellence and Chairman Circle .

My office is located in Pearland so we are well informed on the requirements of coastal insurance coverage including flood insurance for Brazoria, Galveston and Harris counties. If you live in any of the surrounding areas and need a quote for your auto or, boat, home (windstorm included) or motorcycle, give us a call! We can also quote your business auto, commercial, life products and flood insurance. Additionally, we offer free Notary Public services. If you are relocating to southeast Texas or just looking to save on your insurance products, we are here to work for you.

A little about me, I attended the University of Houston and earned a BBA in Finance. I am a devoted husband, father and grandfather. I am passionate about serving my community through my various roles with the Pearland City Council, Pearland ISD, Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Board and Rotary. I am currently serving my 6th term as your State Representative for House District 29.

Outside of the office, I enjoy time away at our land with my wife, Freddie and our rescue dog, Waffles.
